Velvet Robot Coffee Lab Rebrand
The assignment for this academic project was to to redesign the logo and brand of a small business, including merchandise and a short logo animation.
Logo Animation
The logo animation was the final portion of the project. It is a short piece intended for social media and advertising. It takes its movement cues from the shape of the logo itself.
Process
Information Gathering
To begin the project, I made note of Velvet Robot Coffee Lab’s current brand, audience, and competitors.
Logo Process
Initially, my logo explorations maintained the current branding’s emphasis on “robot” but ultimately shifted more towards “lab.”
